You may be able to compress the BMP's and TIFF's, but that's about it. External hard drives cost as little as $50 depending on size. I wouldn't even consider using flash drives, that's going to be more expensive and tedious than anything else. I tried to follow those steps last night with no luck. I was able to put it into safe mode, but then when it loaded the icons and the start bar they were only there for about 15 sec. then disappeared. This is the same problem i was having not in safe mode so i was unable to reconfigure windows.

I have never really been happy with how PayPal settles customer support matters and this is just another example where they "fall short" on making the customer experience one to brag about. Excellent review! the compass 597 really rocks! most everyone will get one of these so they can provide internet access to a single computer (like laptops in the review)... but some folks need to share their EVDO with more than one computer, (or perhaps share with their iPhone or iPod Touch, via WiFi) if that sounds like something you would be interested in, then check out EVDO routers like those from Cradlepoint

py007: Of course, getting outside and playing sports is better for you than this, but it's really intended for those that would otherwise be sitting on their couch playing video games. Personally, I've been wanting to exercise more for a while now, but living in Florida it gets pretty hot and humid, and I avoid gyms because of the sweat and germs left behind by other members. My wife worked late last night and before she got home, I spent 40 minutes doing yoga and strength training on the Wii Fit, which I never would have done otherwise. It's not meant to replace the gym or outdoors for the avid exerciser, but rather to get more idle people involved in doing something more physically active than sitting on the couch.
